Atlantic Station
Atlantic Station is a premier mixed-use neighborhood in Midtown Atlanta, offering a true live-work-play environment. It’s known for its walkability, variety of retail and dining, entertainment options, modern housing, and vibrant energy that appeals to young professionals, urban dwellers, and visitors alike.
A Bit of History
Atlantic Station sits on the site of the former Atlantic Steel Mill, which operated from 1901 to 1998. In the early 2000s, the site underwent a massive transformation into a master-planned community, opening to the public in 2005. The development was one of the first in the country to be certified as a LEED EarthCraft Community, prioritizing sustainability and smart growth.
Today, it’s a national model for brownfield redevelopment and urban infill—revitalizing the west side of Midtown and helping bridge the gap between Midtown and Westside Atlanta.
